Hair Transplant Surgery

Hair transplant is a process which involves replacing an area on the scalp with thinning hair with existing hair. It is a surgery in which hair follicles are transplanted from one part of the head to another part which is facing hair loss. 

There are two types of Hair Transplant Procedures.   

1. Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)  -
   
   FUT process is usually for people with bigger area of baldness which needs to be covered.  Although FUT process can be completed within a few sittings and saves time in the long run, it involves cuts, stitches and longer recovery period.
2. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)  -
   
   FUE process is for people with smaller area of baldness and wants shorter hairstyles. No such cuts, or stitches are involved in this process of FUE. This process takes more time but it is less painful because numbing injections are given to the patient.
